"My wife and I had no idea that our boys are currently being denied
the vaccine for HPV-related cancers. On learning this, our
immediate response was to establish how and where to get our
boys vaccinated. It is imperative that we raise awareness of this
ridiculous situation and lobby change so boys as well as girls
receive this vaccine."
CHRIS WARDROP
Chris is a personal trainer and he is married with two boys. A keen cyclist, he
has competed in several long distance road cycling races and events
including Etape du Tour and Lands End to John O'Groats. He has swapped
skinny road tyres for mountain biking and completed the Cape Epic, a 7 day
mountain bike race in South Africa. Chris can be found most weekends on
mountain bike trails trying to keep ahead of his dog and eldest son, a battle
he is starting to lose! Last year took him to the high arctic with the Royal
Marines, to experience some of the skills required to become a mountain
leader, digging and sleeping in snow holes, ice climbing and cross country
skiing . Chris is looking forward to swapping -25 for some sunshine and
hopes he can put the valuable teamwork lessons he learned from the Royal
Marines to good use on this, his toughest challenge so far.
