The HPV and Anal Cancer Foundation works with doctors, industry

leaders, governments, non-profit think tanks, patients and supporters

like you to explore creative approaches that lead to the most efficient

​

possible path of eliminating HPV and the devastation it causes. Here

are some examples of innovative platforms we are working on:





$50k Support Services. End the isolation for anal cancer patients.

​

Peer-to-peer support, resources for newly diagnosed patients, support

​

nurses, and up-to-date information.





$50k HPVAction. A wide range of patient and professional

​

organisations will work together through a new collaborative

​

partnership, HPV Action. Its aim will be to reduce the health burden of

​

HPV primarily through gender-neutral HPV vaccination.





 

$100k: Cell line prizes. Create and distribute models required for

​

nearly all basic and translational HPV-related cancer research.

​

Shockingly there are no anal cancer lines in existence, and a 



competition provides the incentive to expedite this creation.





 

$200k: Drug Re-positioning. There are 2,800 FDA-approved drugs

​

and it would be impossible to test all in a clinical setting. However, in a

​

pre-clinical setting we can rapidly discover which drugs are likely to be

​

successful if we test all of these approved drugs against the HPV-

​

related cancer cell lines.





 

$200k. Investigator Seed Grants. Incentivize and enable researchers

​

to bring their expertise and ideas to bear on HPV-related cancer by

​

offering peer-reviewed seed grants to test hypotheses, and generate

​

preliminary data needed to garner larger, sustained funding sources.





 

$200k: HPVTrialFinder. Clinical trial recruitment is a challenge across

​

all diseases, particularly for HPV-related cancers. With millions of

​

people currently infected with HPV, the patient community is

 

poised to ​take steps to make a major difference in the acceleration of a

​

cure. HPVTrialFinder is one solution to help patients and their loved

​

ones participate in research by making it easier to find trials that are

​

right for them.
