It goes without saying that everyone taking part in the NOMAN Barcelona – Ibiza race will receive the full support
at all times. Whilst we aim for both boats to complete the race without the need for outside assistance
sometimes there may be the need to receive help from us. We will be close by in a support yacht following the
race and visiting both boats on many occasions throughout the event. The support yacht will also be used to
ensure that both boats comply with the race rules (no cheating) and to accompany the boats through busy
shipping lanes.

Ellie De Nardo set up the Behind Cancer Campaign in 2010 after her mother was
diagnosed with anal cancer. At the time there were no UK resources dedicated to anal
cancer patients which left the family feeling isolated and frustrated. The campaign was set
up and it was through that she met Tristan. Since the HPV and Anal Cancer Foundation
expanded to the UK, Ellie has joined them as their Finance and Communications
Coordinator where she has been working hard to put the NOMAN is an Island Campaign
together!
